Boeing Union Strike: 33,000 Employees Are Targeting Their Professionals’ Cessation
Boeing is facing its first strike in 16 years with thousands of union members, 33,000, preparing to walk out on Friday morning.
The standstill to be initiated by members of the International Association of Machinists union, emanates from the recent lection of a four year contract that was labelled by the company as the best.

However, 95% of union members voted against the proposal, while 96% authorized a strike, citing dissatisfaction with past concessions and lingering frustrations with the company.

The Boeing’s workforce has been undergoing some existential threats in the recent past.
The gradual downsizing of employees and the relocation of work to factories without unionized labor as well as and the string of contract fights have made the employees lose confidence in the union.
